Alligator enters Wilton Manors backyard during king tides, police say — Key Biscayne Technology news

Subscribe to our YouTube channel! NBC6 South Florida Wilton Manors Police issued an alert to the community after a resident spotted an alligator in a residential area Wednesday afternoon. According to the police department, king tides allowed the reptile to make its way into the backyard of a home on the 2800 block of NW 10 Avenue. The alligator later returned to the canal, but authorities urged residents to remain vigilant. They recommended keeping your distance from alligators and never feeding them. The alert advises owners to keep an eye on their pets, keep them leashed, and away from the water. Authorities also said people should not swim in the canals or waterways in the area.
