A Wind Advisory is in place for gusts up to 40 mph. The timing of this storm system couldn’t be any worse with the peak of king tides ongoing across South Florida. This will lead to significant coastal flooding during times of high tide. High tides are at 9:44 a.m. and 9:48 p.m. today and 10:31 a.m. and 10:34 p.m. tomorrow at Virginia Key. A few showers are possible on the breeze from the Atlantic. Some rain could be heavy at times. We will be drier later this week as the winds gradually weaken.
