While we had decent coverage of thunderstorms over the weekend, some drier air in the atmosphere will work to lower our rain chances today. We will still get some pop-up showers and thunderstorms, just not as many. High temperatures will be a little warmer than average in the lower 90s.The second half of the week turns more active as a storm system moves in from the Atlantic. This will not develop into anything tropical, but it will work to enhance our thunderstorm chances after Wednesday. These systems are also known for producing some severe weather, so we will monitor that potential as the week progresses.
